Come One, Come All
In the spirit of the BRIDGE mission, we present a BRIDGE Girls Lacrosse Playday on June 7, 2008. The US Lacrosse BRIDGE Initiative will sponsor and host the fifth annual BRIDGE Playday, where multiple BRIDGE affiliate programs and others will come together to showcase their female talent. The Playday will consist of a clinic and tournament play at the United Sports Training Center (USTC) in Downingtown, Pa.

Clinic
The Clinic will be led by several top lacrosse instructors from across the nation. Basic skills will be reviewed, such as cradling, throwing, catching and ground balls. Drills will be introduced focusing on stickwork, possession skills, cutting and receiving, shooting, transition, and team attack and defense.

Tournament Play
In the afternoon, 6v6 or 3v3 games will take place. This will enable for more touches of the ball, more actual play and involvement of the players and short games with lots of rest time in between.
