Cal Poly Claims Seventh Straight Title in 2007 Game Scores and Results
Event Description The US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates National Championship showcases the nation's best Women's Intercollegiate Associates lacrosse teams at the same venue. It is the only National College Championship that is endorsed and managed by US Lacrosse, the National Governing Body of Lacrosse. This premier event will attract and spotlight some of the best and brightest IA lacrosse talent.
The US Lacrosse Women's Division Intercollegiate Associates are comprised of approximately 170 women's college programs around the country. The teams are not varsity programs at the colleges, but follow similar guidelines as varsity programs and compete at a level much more organized than traditional college club programs.
A total of 16 women's teams are selected to participate in the 2007 IA national championship, to be held for the first time at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Colorado.
Game Schedule / Results Eight opening round games will be played at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Wednesday, May 9. Winners will meet in quarterfinal round games on Thursday, with opening round losers playing in consolation bracket games. Championship Game on CSTV The WDIA's national championship game will be shown on delay on CSTV, with the first airing scheduled for Wednesday, May 16 from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. ET.

Teams Selected Six-time defending champion Cal Poly, which owns a 21-0 all-time record in IA Championship competition, is the number one seed for the 2007 tournament. Navy, the only other team to participate in all seven IA Tournaments, is this year's number two seed. To see a full list of this year's 16-team tournament field, please click here.
Lodging Two hotels in Denver are serving as the primary and recommended lodging options for this event. The Radisson Hotel Denver Stapleton Plaza has been designated as the Official WDIA Host Hotel and will accomodate the participating teams during the tournament.
