Girls Division Established in 1980, this division features high school aged players representing the US Lacrosse region in which they live and play. Approximately 32 teams are placed into two divisions which are further broken into pools. The Valerie Walchak Trophy is awarded to the winning team in Division I. The winning team in Division II is also honored.
Note: U-19 tryouts will be held in conjunction with National Tournament Region team tryouts at the chapter/region level. In order to qualify for the next round of U-19 tryouts, one must make a National Tournament Region Team and participate in the tournament in its entirety. There is a separate application and $25 fee for the U-19 tryouts. Please see U-19 National Tryouts for more information.
Senior Only Division This division features only high school seniors who are graduating in the spring. Players apply to participate in the tournament and are selected and placed on teams by a committee of the women's division coach's council. Teams compete in two pools with round robin and cross over play. At the conclusion, a champion is crowned.
Club Division Post College and College players representing the US Lacrosse region they live and play in. Approximately 25 teams are placed in either Division 1, 2, 3 or 4 and compete and play. The President's Cup, which dates back to 1975, honors the winning teams from each of the four divisions.
NEW IN '06! Post Collegiate Standing-Clubs Division The Women's Division Post-Collegiate Clubs (WDPCC) Council of US Lacrosse is proud to announce a new opportunity for current post-collegiate club teams to play at the Women's Division National Tournament. For the first time ever, the US Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament, held annually since 1933, will have a division solely for WDPCC teams. This new division is where six of the best WDPCC teams in the country will compete for the title of champion.
