Fulfillment Manager Reports to: Managing Director of Membership Status: Full Time
General Description Manage a core set of processing duties to ensure timely delivery of membership materials and communications. Use expertise in communications to write effectively, manage direct mail procedures and to understand new media that will optimize our mix with a five-year plan.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities · Process data files for member cards, rulebooks and renewal notices • Work with IT to obtain the most effective data sets • Create standard procedures for timely delivery to mail vendors • Prepare files for email blasting and manage these communications • Maintain records on shared drives • Create matched tests according to standard direct mail practices • Analyze data and implement results to optimize processes • Provide regular reports to senior management · Manage inventory used for fulfillment • Help source and qualify vendors; identify new materials and media • Work with the Communications Department on design and printing • Network with our volunteer structure and staff to gain input • Optimize physical designs with mail houses • Manage inventory to limit cost and prevent out-of-stock • Manage budget line items associated with fulfillment · Write effective member communication pieces for print, electronic and new media • Perform an audit of current member pieces and create a plan to upgrade these • Work with the Marketing Communications Department to share resources • Implement improvements, create tests, analyze results and report findings · Manage the email campaigns for the Membership Department • Help source and qualify software for internal use or vendors for external use • Handle the overall input process from staff, creation of e-mail and delivery • Create text and designs, testing according to standard direct mail practices • Stay current with best electronic technology and new media · Other duties as assigned
Required Skills, Education and Experience · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience · Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel · Working knowledge of database structures and email software · Strong organizational skills · Works with minimal supervision; experience reporting to senior management · Detail oriented

Accounting Manager Reports to: Managing Director of Finance Status: Full-time
General Description The Accounting Manager is responsible for the supervision and development of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll and ensures that all accounting transactions are performed in a controlled, timely and accurate manner. The Accounting Manager is also responsible for preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, financial analysis and financial reports. Occasional night/weekend work required to meet deadlines and to assist at US Lacrosse events.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities · Responsible for accounting operations, including transaction processing as well as management reporting. · Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. · Oversee general ledger maintenance including chart of accounts, preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, allocations and account reconciliations. · Monitor and improve accounting policies and procedures to maintain strong internal controls and meet business needs. Proactively recommend changes where appropriate. · Review and approve work performed by subordinates and those contributing to the accounting function. · Ensure all transactions are in accordance with company policies and procedures, and are adequately documented and properly filed. · Assist in hiring decisions for the accounting department · Assist in special projects including preparation of annual budgets.
Qualifications · Accounting degree, or degree in a business-related major with emphasis in accounting · Strong knowledge of GAAP. · Strong analytical skills · Minimum 3 years previous experience in an accounting department. · Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required. Experience with Financial Edge is a plus. · Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Officials' Education and Training Manager Reports to: Director of Sport Development Status: Full-time
General Description/Duties Responsible for oversight and implementation of all US Lacrosse initiatives pertaining to men’s and women’s officials’ training. He/she will provide guidance and leadership along with US Lacrosse staff and volunteer boards, committees and councils to create and/or improve programs to recruit, develop and retain qualified officials to support the growth of lacrosse. All duties are performed in conjunction with Men’s Division Officials Council (MDOC) training committee, Women’s Division Officials Council (WDOC) training committee, and WDOC executive committee (National Umpires Council).
Specific Duties and Responsibilities • Works with Director of Sport Development, Men’s and Women’s Division Directors, PR coordinator, membership and communications department to ensure that officials training events and training information is included in all USL communications including Crosse Connection, Stripes, Flags and Whistles, and on the web site. • Coordinates and administers all annual online officials training tests and oversees results reporting and data analysis. • Administers Level 1 and 2 Men’s Officials’ Training program. This includes: -Managing annual material revisions and timelines -Overseeing communications to all training administrators regarding program implementation, ordering, reporting, updates and curriculum -Managing distribution process, package materials, and inventory -Tracking revenue and expenditures, national usage • Identifies and implements process improvements and standards in current training organization and administration to streamline training nationally. • Assists in the development of marketing materials for officials including, but not limited to, recruitment brochures, membership materials, and web content. • Identifies events and opportunities for nationally run officials training events for professional growth and development—implements all planning, budgets, registrations, participant selection and recruitment, marketing, securing of clinicians in conjunction with MDOC training committee, WDOC training committee and WDOC executive committee. • Assists in development of officials’ education opportunities at US Lacrosse National Convention. • Spearheads new initiatives for resources to support officials’ training, including researching and recommending ideas to training committees, staff, and councils. • Oversees curriculum development by content area with an emphasis on national standardization and consistency. • Manages training committee operations including contact lists, meeting scheduling, position descriptions, performance evaluations, committee structure (i.e. sub-committees), operating policies etc. • Coordinates with membership and IT to best track, record and solicit officials who have participated in training opportunities. • Generates regular statistical reports regarding officiating growth, development, impact and initiatives. • Maintains and improves current junior officiating materials and mentoring programs.
Knowledge/Skills Required • Bachelor degree required, with a minimum of two years proven work experience • Programmatic development experience • Outstanding communication skills—written and verbal • Background in education and curriculum development • Demonstrates initiative and self motivation • Good interpersonal and organizational skills • Experience managing volunteers • Experience with database management and analysis • Knowledge of lacrosse/officiating lacrosse a plus.
