(March 14, 2008) 2008 Michael Breschi Scholarship
The Men’s Division Coaches Council is proud to announce that applications for the 2008 Michael Breschi Scholarship are now being accepted. The scholarship is awarded to two (2) graduating high school seniors who plan to attend college and are the son or daughter of a coach. The parent or guardian can be either a male or female coach in high school or college, and should be a full-time employee of an educational institution. The Michael Breschi Scholarship was established in 2007 to honor the life of Michael Breschi, son of Ohio State's Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Joe Breschi. The scholarship was established to preserve Michael’s memory and pass on the steadfast support of the lacrosse community. It is the hopes of Coach Breschi’s fellow coaches, that in awarding this scholarship to the child of another lacrosse coach, they might continue to show their support and care to the Breschi family. • Please click here to download an application. Deadline to apply is May 1, 2008. • Read More from Ohio State's web site
