US Lacrosse Holds Annual National High School All-Star Game

132 of the nation’s best on display in Amherst, Mass. this weekend

BALTIMORE — The National High School All-Star Lacrosse games will be held this weekend in conjunction with the US Lacrosse Youth Festival in Amherst, Mass. The Youth Festival features a total of 80 teams representing regions across the country with under-15 and under-13 all-star teams. The Youth Festival runs from June 29 to July 1 at the University of Massachusetts.

The National High School All-Star games will be held on Saturday, June 30. There are four boys’ teams with a total of 91 players represented and two girls teams with 41 players competing. The first game begins at 12 noon and matches the boys’ East and West teams. At 2 p.m. the girls’ all-star game will be held and at 4 p.m. the boys’ North and South teams meet. All games will be held at Garber Field.

The National High School All-Star games annually feature many of the nation’s top players. Last year’s games included Syracuse’s Mike Powell, a first team All-America selection as a freshman in college this season.
