2006 US Men's National Team Coach Search Begins
BALTIMORE — US Lacrosse is now accepting applications to coach the 2006 US Men's National Team. This is an amazing opportunity to lead a world championship caliber team in the 2006 International Lacrosse Federation World Championships which will be held in Ontario, Canada. The coach position is open to all collegiate or post-collegiate coaches only. Applications must be submitted by Friday, October 1, 2004.
The US Men's National Team has won eight ILF World Championships, and will enter the 2006 World Games as the 6-time defending champion with a 32-game winning streak. The only year the US Men's National Team did not win the ILF Championship was in 1978 when they lost to Canada in overtime of the championship game.
