US Lacrosse Announces 2007 Girls' High School Academic All-Americans |

BALTIMORE — US Lacrosse is pleased to announce that nearly 1,500 girls high school lacrosse players have been named as Academic All-Americans for the 2007 season. The process is coordinated by the high school committee of the US Lacrosse Women’s Division Coaches Council.
In order to be selected, a player must meet the following criteria: • Be a starter or significant contributor • Carry at least 50 percent of her course load in college preparatory courses of honor or advanced placement level • Have a cumulative weighted grade point average of at least 3.6 • Be a junior or senior in high school • Make significant contributions to the school and/or community beyond participation on school athletic teams
In addition, the school’s head coach must be a member of US Lacrosse and each school is limited to a maximum of five honorees.
