Cottle, Amonte Hiller Named US Lacrosse Coaches of the Week |

| BALTIMORE – Dave Cottle of the University of Maryland and Kelly Amonte Hiller of Northwestern University have been selected as the US Lacrosse Coaches of the Week for the week ending March 30. Both will be recognized on CBS College Sports lacrosse broadcasts on April 8 and 12.
Cottle led the Terps to an upset over a top-five ranked team for the second week in a row. On Saturday, Maryland knocked off previously unbeaten and top-ranked Virginia 13-7 at Byrd Stadium. Maryland has won five of its last six to improve to 7-2 for the season entering Friday's game against No. 9 Navy.
Amonte Hiller and the Wildcats knocked off three Top 20 teams during the week. After beating No. 5 Syracuse 19-7 on Monday in a top-five showdown in the Carrier Dome, Northwestern came back to beat No. 8 Georgetown (7-6) and No. 17 Vanderbilt (14-8). Northwestern is a perfect 10-0 this season and has now won 31 consecutive games dating to last season. The win against Vanderbilt also marked Amonte Hiller’s 100th career victory.
US Lacrosse and CBS College Sports are in the fifth year of a partnership to help bring college lacrosse broadcasts to fans around the nation. CSTV has a 23-game package for this season, including telecasts of the NCAA Division I, II and III women’s championships and the NCAA Division II and III men’s championships. CBS College Sports will also telecast the US Lacrosse Women’s Division Intercollegiate Associates National Championship.
