WDOC Welcome Message

Welcome to the home of the Women's Division Officials Council (WDOC). This Web site is designed to assist individuals interested in umpiring as well as to support those who already umpire.

Ready to become a National Umpire?
Come to the National Umpire Clinic at the USTC Fall Classic in Downingtown, PA on
October 10-12, 2008. The cost is $200 and the full schedule is listed below. National Clinic attendance and a recommendation from it are REQUIRED to be eligible to stand for a National Rating at the WDNT in May 2009.
     • Friday, October 10: 7:30 – 10 pm; 
     • Saturday, October 11: 8:30 am – 4 pm & 7 – 10 pm; 
     • Sunday, October 12: 9 am – 1 pm
Please Note: Participants must be adult US Lacrosse members with a multi-year District rating that has been renewed at least one time. Each participant must return a completed National Umpire Clinic application to Fran Trumbo which includes recommendations from their Super Region Chair and two National-Rated umpires.

Ready to become a District Umpire or hone your skills?

Come to the District Umpire Camp at the USTC Fall Classic (Downingtown, PA) on October 10-12, 2008. In addition to working games each day, you will receive classroom and on-field training in the three-person umpiring system from National and International Rated Umpires. The cost is $150, which includes 3-5 hours of classroom and on-field three-person positioning, a District Clinic workbook, three-person game work, feedback from clinicians, box lunch at the field each day, snacks at the evening classroom sessions, water and beverages at the fields, and a written evaluation to be sent within two weeks of camp completion.

US Lacrosse is dedicated to sending experienced women's game umpires to developing areas to train and mentor new and experienced umpires! If you're interested, please complete the attached application form and return it to both your Super Region Chair as well as to the WDOC Chair Laurette Payette.
