THE WDPCC IN 2005
The WDPCC has been fast at work, making every effort to emerge as a powerful force on the lacrosse landscape to better serve you! Allow us to offer some highlights:
|
|
|
Comprehensive Web Site Launched
This year we're further building our Web site into a valuable resource for players and clubs alike. Visit our growing site at: www.uslacrosse.org/wdpcc
Take the WDPCC Online Survey
As you might imagine, our clubs vary greatly in location, structure, resources and needs. Our survey is our effort to better understand and fill your needs. PLEASE take the time to complete our survey by visiting: www.uslacrosse.org/wdpcc/survey.html
Players at Large
Although our primary function is to support clubs, we also recognize the need to support post collegiate players not associated with a club...yet. As a result, we hope to further develop our player at-large database as a resource for current clubs to locate new players. Moreover, we hope to offer these players opportunities to play at tournaments as a "one time" team. Sign up as a Player at Large at: www.uslacrosse.org/wdpcc/atlargeplayerlisting.phtml
Join the WDPCC Council
Do you want to help us? Do you have some great ideas that will strengthen the women’s PCC community? Do you want to get more involved with lacrosse on a national scale? We are looking for a few good women! If you would like to get involved, we have a place for you. Reach out and we will gladly reach back! Please contact Ayana Green at Ayana.Green@verizon.net or Bridget Olp at b_olp@yahoo.com.

See the New Marketing Brochure
By spreading news of your hard work to collegiate coaches, US Lacrosse Chapters and tournament directors, we will strengthen the number of graduating seniors looking to join your teams, and generate more support for local endeavors. To view the brochure visit www.uslacrosse.org/wdpcc/aboutus.htm
Start Up Kit
Many clubs across the country are just starting and many more are struggling. As a result, we plan to develop a kit to help clubs with the ins, outs, and ideas to help run a successful a club.
Newsletter
And of course we are creating a Newsletter developed specifically for you! Welcome to the first edition! Enjoy!
