This council represents active women's lacrosse coaches in the United States. The council has two subcommittees - the high school coaches committee and the college coaches committee - which represent two levels of the game.

The High School Committee of the Coaches Council is responsible for the policies, procedures and guidelines for girls competing at the high school level. The Council is comprised of 16 regional representatives based on the US Lacrosse Geographic Alignment. The committee meets twice a year - January and May.
