2005 World Cup Planning Committees

World Cup Executive Committee (PDF)

Sponsorship: Solicit potential sponsors and develop and present proposals. Manage and coordinate sponsorship benefits.

Marketing:
Develop overall Event marketing/advertising strategy. Product licensing, distribution, ticket sales…

Creative
: Establish visual Event identity. Assist in ad sales of Souvenir Program. Work with US Lacrosse staff graphic artist.

Tourism/Hotels
: Create a visitor package advising guests of hotels, transportation and local activities and events.

World Cup Village:
Develop theme, manage vendors and all tents and activities in village.

Ceremonies:
Budget, plan and coordinate opening and closing ceremonies.

Girls Festival:
Develop and coordinate all aspects of the lacrosse tournament held in conjunction with the Event including the tournament format, creation of the brochure,
management of pre-registration, development of tournament program.

Social Functions:
Plan and organize all aspects of the Welcome Reception and Farewell Banquet as well as social activities throughout the tournament.

General Operations:
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of facility management.

Team Liaisons:
Select and supervise representatives who will serve as liaisons to each participating country.

Games Management:
Responsible for all aspects of game site. Manage ball-kids, ticket takers, ushers, referees and facility, training, security and medical crews. Oversee press box and scorers table.
